Roma mobilita

 

It is necessary yet simple to purchase a permit in order to circulate within the ZTL Bus (Limited Traffic Zone – Bus) areas in the Capital Rome. Monthly, six monthly and annual passes may be applied for at the Offices of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità and  may be paid for by

• Bank transfer;
• Bank draft;
• Credit card and/or ATM payment.

The bank transfer or bank draft must be made out to “Roma Servizi per la Mobilità” and must state the operation reference code and/or be undersigned by the banking institute with a stamp and signature on the document. The banking details are as follows:

Daily permits may be purchased online from our specific website or at one of the  Check Points: Online purchases may be made by:

• Credit card;
• Drawing up, in advance, an  insurance or bank guaranty or a notary’s guaranty of payment for the amount owing for the permits to be purchased (see facsimile attached at the foot of page).

  Permits may be purchased at the various  Check Points:

• In cash;
• By credit card and/or ATM payment.

Online customers paying by credit card may purchase permits A and G the same day they wish to use them, whilst permits B and C must be purchased before 7 pm on the day prior to use. Customers joining the customer loyalty scheme with Roma Servizi per la Mobilità may purchase permits A, C and G the same day they wish to use them, whilst permit B must be purchased before 7 pm on the day prior to use. Furthermore, customers joining the customer loyalty scheme may book Permit C in advance without being required to register the coach’s number plate at the time of booking, paying a deposit of 30 euro. The booking should then be confirmed no later than 3 pm of the day prior to use. In the event that no confirmation is received, the deposit is non-refundable. The coach’s number plate may be registered up until 7 am on the day of use. All permits may be cancelled up to and no later than 3 pm on the day prior to use, the permit, once displayed/stamped, can  no longer be cancelled or refunded. Customers deciding to go to one of the Check Points may purchase the permit valid for the same day as sale or for up to 10 days following the day of sale. All day permits may be purchased from the Check Points. Permit C may be purchased, subject to availability, in accordance with the limited daily availability of 3,000 permits issued.

Day permits: in the event that a vehicle must be substituted, the customers having stamped the permit may hand it back to the check point, handing over the identification tag in their possession no later than 8.00 am on the day of use. The substitution must involve replacement with a similar vehicle having the same length and type of fuel supply.
