On the next 1 and 2 July in Rome at the PalaExpò the annual Conference of the IMPACTS Association will be held.
The IMPACTS Association is a dedicated network through which the great cities and capitals of Europe (as well as North America and Latin America) exchange experiences on mobility. The group works informally, cities support each other and members can easily come into contact with each other for advice on common issues and can take joint mobility action.
European cities represented in IMPACTS are Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Geneva, Gothenburg, London, Paris, Rome, Vienna and Zagreb. The city of Rome through the Ass. Marchi is president of IMPACTS for 2010 and it will host the annual conference, whose theme is "Sustainable urban mobility - new projects and technologies towards Sustainability - Rome meets Europe” and where the two days of conferences and social events will provide participants with opportunities for discussion and knowledge about latest developments in urban mobility.
The Companies dealing with mobility in Rome will express their capabilities and in particular the Agency, which among other things is supporting the City in the organization of the conference, will have two speeches characterizing in the first the activities of the Agency Roma Servizi per la Mobilità itself, while the second one will cover the mobility project for the Olympics 2020 candidature of Rome.
An interesting supporting program is linked to the Conference, mainly directed mainly to foreign guests, with a visit to a metro station of the new line B1 in Palombara Sabina square by Roma Metropolitane; ATAC will provide vouchers of line 110 Open for guests and the Agency will provide guests with card for the bike-sharing service, to be used freely even in the following weekend.
The participation of the Roma servizi per la Mobilità to the Motech Eco will be the first event for the our Agency and it’s new logo.
